You ask questions and there’s always some replying trying to sell you their particular brand of religion.
They just can’t resist can they.
Chosen Answer:
They’re brain washed into believing it’s their duty
Kind of like God spamming

How much did they ask for when selling?
Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior or ROT IN HELL FOREVER!
the same reason why non believers use this site to promote what they believe.
yea, they cant resist either.
brainwashing by the cult
I don’t.
Why do some atheists use this site as a testing ground for spreading their ideas of non-existence of God?
The answer may be similar…………..
Because all is fair in love and war and, with the Christians, it’s love.
Someone asks a question and I give you my take on it and what I have studied and found the answer to be… no recruiting, just answering… :/
If you don’t want to be “recruited” don’t ask a question then… or at least think it out full before you post it so you get an answer instead of a bunch of people “recruiting”
They’re brain washed into believing it’s their duty
Kind of like God spamming
This is the Y!A Religion & Spirituality board what do ya expect?
Now, do you want to become a Christian for cheap?
Be Blessed:-)
Why do you come to a “R&S” board if you are neither? They are asked a question and they are answering it. Atheist on this board are far and away more vocal about their beliefs.
this site people speak what they believe so If one believes in God he/she will talk about their beliefs all are free to talk about beliefs
Because

they believe that the more people they “witness” to the better chance they have to go up then down! when in reality they need to be looking at their own faith and life choices, oh sorry, you can murder who ever you want as long as you accept the lord in your heart when he rises again!! or you can just go to confession, because the he sent his son to die for your sins so you can screw up as much as you want on earth! you are already forgiven! such an odd way to look at things, try telling a child that, “I will forgive you no matter what you do a mothers love in unconditional!” Ha!
It’s part of the milieu of R&S. I’m a Baha’i and I don’t mind if atheists, Christian, Muslims, pagans or whoever try to recruit me. I like it. I especially like creative and provocative questions and responses, which there are far too few of.
Its like Amway for the spiritually retarded.
Anyone would do this for their purpose. If they require something they would try to get their word across everywhere. A campaign manager for something would do the same. Granted they would have a different method or style but they would do the same. It’s up to the readers to take things seriously or just discard them if they feel that it is unnecessary.
Exactly how non believers are always trying to oppose the existence of God. And its not “selling” as you put it, it’s called evangelizing.
Well when on a religious forum of a site when the questions are religious there will be people answering in a religious tone. Especially if the question should be snide and crude towards one’s particular choice. Then they will really go off the religious handle.
If you don’t like all the religion stay away from the religion part of Y!A.
you are thinking of cults who spam constantly….im just suggesting…ppl can take it or leave it.. Obviously they need members but my church is jampacked sonstantly..
Everyone is trying to “recruit” people to his/her way of thinking. Why else would they put across their views.
This is true not only of Christians but even for atheists.
Why do telemarketers ALWAYS call?
Why do car lots do commercials?
Why does Wal-Mart advertise their stores?
Why…Why…Why…?
The answer is simple – because people want you to know what they know, no matter what “field” of interest they are in!!!

It’s not a “recruiting ground”. I can’t help it if someone chooses to reject the Bible’s message, but that doesn’t make me feel less obligated in a moral sense to try to teach it to others. I can’t speak for the motives of others, but as for me, I feel it is a responsible thing to do, the same as letting a family member or loved one know if someone was plotting to kill them. I believe that NOT warning them would be tantamount to being an accessory to murder!
I believe that the Bible is telling the truth about our eternal life and salvation and how to go about getting it. It’s a good thing, and I want to help others to have it. How is that wrong?
Not everyone is a true Christian.
